Centra , a Lexington, Mass., provider of software and services for distance learning and
business collaboration, has established a new sales office in Germany.
To date, Centra has been working closely with a local distribution partner, Tertia Edusoft, a provider of media applications for corporate training in Germany.
In the last year, Centra and Tertia have landed some high-profile customers, including Deutsche Telekomm, Siemens AG, PwC Consulting, Sony Europe GmbH.
Software veteran, Eric Kuhlenbeck has been appointed to oversee Centra’s German sales and service operation, reporting to Sjoerd Idzerda,
head of operations for central Europe. Previously, Kuhlenbeck worked at TeamWARE Group, a Fujitsu Company, Symantec, and most recently, NewWorld
Commerce.
Lawrence Whittle, Centra’s vice president of operations for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, said, “This new facility gives us greater presence in the
growing German market, and enables us to provide direct service to our clients there.”
