Everdream Corp. and Netopia yesterday announced a partnership that would give Everdream customers access to Netopia’s e-commerce Web platform.
Everdream Corp. offers subscription computing for small business. Netopia provides DSL Internet equipment and e-commerce Web platforms to small and medium size businesses.
Access to Netopia’s e-commerce Web platform means the ability to create a professional quality Web presence. Design templates and industry-specific content packages will allow non-technical merchants to get on the Web in less than an hour. No HTML or design experience is necessary.
“Netopia’s next-generation Internet products will lead Everdream’s small business customers onto the Web with no assembly required,” Alan Lefkof, president and chief executive officer, Netopia.
Every new Everdream customer will have their PC pre-coded with a template that will enable them to create a Web site to publicize their business. Customers will then have the opportunity to work closely with Everdream to add increased functionality to their online stores as their business needs grow.
