TellSoft Technologies and Interliant, Inc. Thursday announced a deal wherein Interliant will offer TellSoft’s suite of content creation and delivery solutions — iTalkServices — to its business customers.
“We are thrilled to join forces with Interliant, one of the industry’s largest ASPs and a premier web hosting company, to drive the availability and adoption of streaming media for content and communications,” said Bill Tomeo, president and CEO of TellSoft Technologies. “By combining our business strengths, we can more effectively tackle the enormous opportunities available in the more-than-$106 billion business communications market. And, as application service providers, TellSoft and Interliant are able to easily address companies’ changing communications needs that are being driven by factors such as evolving workplace environments and an increasing reliance on the Internet for conducting business.”
Interliant will integrate TellSoft’s iTalkServices, including iTalkWeb (voice web publishing), iTalkLive (live Internet broadcasting) and iTalkMail (voice email messaging) into its Shared Web Hosting and Application Hosting offerings. TellSoft’s suite of iTalkServices will enable Interliant’s customers add rich media to their communications over a phone.
Depending on the web-hosting package selected, Interliant customers will receive iTalkServices as premium options or included value-added components. Additionally, Interliant and TellSoft will work together to enable Interliant’s network of partners, including web developers, web designers and OEMs, to use rich-media outsourcing for additional reselling.
“TellSoft’s proven technology and the tremendous ease of use of its rich-media solutions make iTalkServices a perfect enhancement to the broad range of outsourcing solutions we offer our customers,” said Alan Shimel, Interliant vice president for business development. “iTalkServices are an excellent way for our customers to improve and enrich their web sites. In addition, we see this partnership with TellSoft as a solid opportunity to increase the value we bring to our customers while boosting our revenue opportunities and competitive advantage, and expanding the one-stop shop we currently provide to our customers.”
Interliant and TellSoft plan to roll out their co-branded iTalkServices to Interliant’s business customers by year’s end.
