Triton PCS Calls on Agilera

Full-service ASP Agilera Wednesday (Feb 28) announced that Triton PCS, a member of the AT&T Wireless Network, has selected Agilera’s Extended Enterprise (XE) as the platform for its Lawson Software applications.

“When Triton PCS was founded, we set out to create an unique wireless company – one that succeeds because it is truly focused solely on the customer. Agilera enables us to do just that by relieving us of maintaining non-core business processes,” said Laura Porter, vice president of human resources at Triton PCS.

Agilera has integrated and is hosting the complete suite of Lawson human resource applications and provide Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) services including the printing and distribution of payroll checks for Triton PCS’s more than 1,400 employees.

“Removing the burden of maintenance – and providing value-added services such as the printing and distribution of payroll – enables fast-growing customers like Triton PCS to focus on meeting the evolving needs of their clients,” said Agilera president and COO Robert Unger. “Agilera is pleased to supply Triton PCS the tools necessary to sustain a competitive edge.”

Triton PCS, based in Berwyn, Pennsylvania, is a leading provider of digital wireless phone service in the Southeast, licensed to operate in a contiguous area covering more than 13 million people in Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, northern Georgia, northeastern Tennessee and southeastern Kentucky. The company markets its services under the brand SunCom, a member of the AT&T Wireless Network.

Agilera, headquartered in Englewood, Colorado, was founded by CIBER Inc. (NYSE: CBR), the 27-year international systems integrator; Verio Inc. (Nasdaq: VRIO), the world’s largest Web hosting company; and Centennial Ventures, Colorado’s largest venture capital firm.
