Company, a provider of enterprise business-to-business software
solutions, and MicroStrategy
Incorporated, which develops Intelligent E-Business software,
have entered a software licensing and technology agreement which enables
J.D. Edwards to offer the MicroStrategy Intelligent E-Business
Platform(TM) internationally.
J.D. Edwards’ business-to-business software combines MicroStrategy’s
Intelligent E-Business Platform with capabilities to create a unified
solution for data analysis capabilities. MicroStrategy’s technology will
be integrated through various API layers to create scorecard
functionality.
The combined solution is designed to enable companies and decision
makers to analyze critical information throughout the extended
enterprise to improve operations and understand interactions with
customers, suppliers, and within their own business. This ability to
view critical data is to lead to better management decisions that
increase revenue and drive down operating costs.

Customers of the joint solution are to access, analyze, and share
information via the Internet, enabling them to work more efficiently and
providing the ability to improve the quality of decision-making at every
level of the supply chain. The solution is expected to facilitate
information sharing in a Web-based environment, making it accessible
throughout the extended enterprise in real time. Users are also meant to
compare key performance indicators and evaluate the health of their
business from a high-level display of data.
