Adauction.com Hooks Up With MSN LinkExchange

San Francisco-based Adauction.com and Microsoft’s MSN LinkExchange signed a deal
designed to enhance advertising opportunities for small businesses.

The two companies have agreed to a deal in which Adauction.com will offer its
customized auction services to create an automated system for selling
selected ad space in the AdStore section of the LinkExchange Web site.
Financial arrangements were not disclosed.

“As the leading media-buying store for small businesses on the Web, AdStore
is always looking for new ways to help our customers buy affordable and
high-quality advertising,” said Andy Scott, vice president of business
development for MSN LinkExchange. “Our
relationship with Adauction.com will now provide small businesses with the
benefits of ‘opportunistic buying’ through Adauction.com’s innovative
bid-based format.”

“This is a great fit for both companies because our business models support
small buyers’ efforts to dramatically increase traffic to their sites by
advertising with the top-branded publishers,” said Neil Cohen,
Adauction.com’s senior vice president of business affairs.

Registered buyers at LinkExchange’s AdStore can click onto the Adauction.com
button to preview and purchase the available inventory. Ad lot sizes are
expected to range from 25,000 to 100,000 impressions at a price of $1,500 or
less. The LinkExchange-Adauction.com service includes insertion orders, ad
serving, consolidated billing and
reporting. Adauction.com offers 18 content categories such as shopping,
business,
entertainment and travel.
