Engine Interactive recently launched Web sites and campaigns promoting new games and gaming technology for Nintendo of America.

One site introduces Nintendo’s new Donkey Kong Country game by presenting a linear set of entertaining modules, which give a flavor of the game and its characters. Another Web presence highlights the capabilities of Nintendo’s e-Reader hardware and the games that can be used in conjunction with the new technology.

Wild Impact Marketing has completed an acquisition of Blue Ink Solutions, a Denver-based interactive marketing company. The company is now able to provide brand-building marketing solutions across both online and offline channels, especially with regard to incentives and direct-response campaigns.

“Wild Impact has greatly simplified planning and executing our sales-incentive points program,” said Bob Atkins, president of Grohe America, a Wild Impact client.

Marketing tech consultancy Emerging Interest (EI) has promoted Heidi Lehmann from VP and managing director to chief operating officer. Prior to EI, she was director of marketing applications at Artificial Life, and she led business development at Kaon Interactive and Autosite.com.

At EI, Lehmann will expand its Marketing Technology Road Shows, as well as assist the launch of a new e-mail technology offering.
