Fujifilm U.S.A.’s interactive agency, Sharpe Partners has built a Web site and sweepstakes on the panda theme, designed to celebrate the pair while collecting opt-in e-mail addresses. The new site details the lives of Tian Tian and Mei Xiang and allows visitors to view photos, send pictures and learn about giant pandas. The sweepstakes gives visitors a chance to win a trip to Washington to meet the pandas.

Sharpe, a New York-based marketing agency, will also send an e-mail to 15,000 people who have previously registered on the old Fuji/panda site and other Fuji lists, the company said.
