Into the increasingly crowded incentive surfing and shopping field comes
PointClick.com, which is launching the PointClick Network, another new
consumer-to-business network that pays cash for surfing the Web and buying
products online.
The Web sites in the PointClick Network get increased traffic and online
sales and only pay for potential customers who actually click on their site,
the company said.
PointClick Network member get paid (apparently an average of one cent) for
each click they make on a network merchant’s Web site.
Rewards are doubled
when members use what they have earned from clicking to make purchases within
the PointClick Network.
“Our goal is simple — we want to help companies increase online sales. That
is why we offer cash incentives to those who purchase products in the
PointClick Network,” said Jeffrey Wiseman, president of PointClick.
“We
understand increased traffic is beneficial, but increased revenue is most
important for merchants.”
PointClick said more than 200 companies have already signed on as partners,
including eBay and Amazon.com.
