Advanced Digital Information Corporation and Pathlight Technology today announced plans to demonstrate an integrated Storage Area Network (SAN) solution at the Storage Networking World conference in Palm Desert California this week.
Said Rahmani, Pathlight executive vice president, said, “Together, we are creating new solutions that can store hundreds of terabytes, integrate multiple storage networking protocols, support heterogeneous hosts, power server-free backup, and provide enterprise class security.”
According to the companies, they will be demonstrating SAN-enabled Scalar tape libraries that include LTO and SuperDLT storage technology, serverless backup agents, and integrated SAN management and access security capability. The solutions are designed to offer end users flexibility for deploying and managing heterogeneous storage networks that include both legacy and new technologies.
